Privacy
A plain-English notice on what happens to your data when you use this site.
Who we are
This site is run by Three Wishes Group Limited, 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA. We are the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at bookings@sabrinastocker.com.
What we collect
Speaking and contact forms: your name, email, and whatever you choose to add, such as your organisation, event name, dates and location, which talk you are asking about, roughly how many people will be in the room, a deadline, and your message.
Newsletter: your email address, and which page of the site you signed up on.
Blog comments: your name and your comment, plus a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address to spot spam. We do not ask for your email address.
We only collect what you choose to give us, plus the technical information your browser sends when you visit. We do not ask for sensitive details such as health information, and please do not put any in a message.
Cookies and analytics
The first time you visit, a small banner at the bottom of the screen gives you three buttons: Accept, Reject and Settings. Reject is as easy as Accept.
Until you press Accept, nothing from Google, Microsoft or Meta loads on this site. If you reject, or never choose, none of them load.
Settings lets you choose each group on its own. Analytics is Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, which show which pages are read and where people get stuck. Advertising is the Meta pixel, which shows whether an ad led to a visit. They may set cookies and collect device and browsing information, such as pages viewed and approximate location. We only switch these on when we are using them.
Vercel Web Analytics is always on. It counts page views and the named actions below without cookies and without following you from site to site. The actions it counts are: sending a form, subscribing to the newsletter, playing a video clip, opening the showreel, downloading a PDF, clicking a link to another site, and clicking an email link. None of them record what you typed.
Your choice is saved in your own browser (in local storage on this device, not in a cookie), so the banner does not keep asking. You can change your mind at any time with the button below, or the Cookie settings button at the bottom of every page. If you turn something off after it has been running, the page reloads without it.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
To reply to your enquiry and, if it leads to a booking, to do what you ask: legitimate interest, or taking steps towards a contract.
To send you the newsletter: your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works in one click.
To publish your comment: your consent. We do not show your email address, because we do not collect it.
To keep the site secure and running well, and to keep a record of our correspondence: legitimate interest. Stopping spam on our forms uses your IP address for a short time, in the memory of the server.
To understand and improve the site: Vercel Web Analytics is our legitimate interest, because it uses no cookies. Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and the Meta pixel are only ever your consent, from the banner.
Who processes it
We use a small set of services to run the site: Vercel (hosting and cookie-free analytics), Supabase (storage), Resend (email), Kit (the newsletter) and Slack (internal notifications to our team). They process data on our instructions. We do not sell your data.
Google, Microsoft and Meta only receive anything from you if you accept their groups in the banner, and then they act under their own privacy policies.
Your form details and comments are stored in our database. Enquiries also trigger an email to our team and a short notice in a private Slack channel, so we can reply quickly. Newsletter sign-ups are added to our Kit list. We may also share data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries: up to 24 months. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Comments: for as long as they are published, or until you ask us to remove them. Analytics data is kept for the period each provider sets.
When the time is up, we delete the data or remove anything that could identify you. If you ask us to delete something sooner, we will, unless the law means we must keep it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to how we use it, or receive a copy in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time. Email bookings@sabrinastocker.com and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
You can also manage cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics will not stop you using the site.
International transfers
Some of the services above are based in the United States. Where your data leaves the UK, it is protected by standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard approved under UK law.
Children
This site is not aimed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has sent us their details, email us and we will delete them promptly.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use your data, we will update this page and the date below. For anything significant, we will make the change easy to spot rather than leave it buried here.
